Thank-you so much for stopping by! Since you have arrived at this page, I am guessing that you would like to know a bit more about me and the work I do.
I am located in the South East of Melbourne, Australia and live with my wonderful family consisting of my husband Paul, son Ethan, daughter Ava and Golden Retriever, Lenny.
I am a professional, predominantly natural light photographer located in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with photography and documenting life. In my university days I studied Advanced Photographic Methods at Deakin University as part of my Arts degree. No digital back then which makes me feel a little old, but provided me with a very solid understanding of photography, exposure, composition, techniques and history. I also studied theatre, film, drama, dance and philosophy. This has played a big role in the building of my photographic style and vision. After the birth of my son, I really began to work on learning more about the digital side of the photography world.
I work with my clients on location and specialize in child, baby, newborn, family, lifestyle photography and custom portraiture. My style is very relaxed, natural and candid. I enjoy capturing real memories and emotions rather than traditional (smile and say cheese) posed portraits. I want my clients to be able to remember the moments, the little things and expressions that we sometimes forget so easily, but when captured are treasured always.
When I am not working I love using my camera as a creative outlet, challenging myself to look at the world in different ways. I hope you also enjoy looking at the personal work I have included on my website and blog.
If you feel that my photographic style may be a good fit for you, l would love to hear from you and start creating the perfect custom session to suit your requirements.
